Honor-Winning David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is a Nigerian artist who has reacted on social media to Rihanna’s announcement that his popular single Unavailable is her song of the year.
BarbadosIn a recent interview with Complex, American artist Rihanna—a mother of two—selected Davido’s song “Unavailable,” featuring Musa Keys, as her song of the year, setting off a social media storm.
She also mentioned that “Unavailable,” a sentimental hit song, is not just her song of the year but that she has been listening to it nonstop.
Rihanna caused a stir earlier today, December 20, 2023, when she was seen inadvertently performing the “Unavailable” dance challenge at a recent Fenty fashion event, The Creeper.
The billionaire singer effortlessly dished out the hand movement to the Unavailable dance as she was accompanied by her partner A$AP Rockey and members of Fenty team. Davido upon seeing the video responded with utmost joy and that was just the beginning.
Sighting the fresh video where Rihanna refers to his song “Unavailable” as her song of the year, Davido couldn’t keep calm.
He reacted to the video by referring to himself as a winner.
He said; “Nah me win.”
